the ARCE's Mission

European Architects Boards joined forces to promote and raise common activities within the Arce.

Given common experiences with problems concerning architectural culture in the cities and metropolitan regions of Europe and given the involvement of the architecture in urban development and rebuilding, Architects are agreed with developing cultural initiatives to increase the recognition of problems and activities inherent to the architecture, planning and environment in order to encourage the cooperation among European architects.

The Arce's new aspect is the possible extension to other European cities.

The Arce also want to deepen two topics:

1) To look for the way of guaranteeing an adeguate acknowledgment of our profession as a result of social, scientific and technical developments and to environmental protection.

2) To exchange full information on university training and professional rules at a local level to permit the architect's free-moving in Europe.

The Arce's activities are carried out by the following operating sectors:

  • To program cultural activities (Architectural House)

  • To participate in European search, training, cultural exchange projects
  • Centre of documentation and translation
  • Communication, with Internet
  • Search of common financings for shared activities
